If you haven’t been using Seesaw, stop what you are doing and check it out now. This is a game-changer for my kinder students, their families, and myself. Seesaw has a never-ending list of ways to use it in the classroom. My kids love sharing their learning with their parents and their parents love getting to see what is happening in the classroom every day.
What I really like now is the ability to create activities for your students to do and share those activities with other teachers on campus or with anybody using Seesaw. This makes collaborating with others easy peasy.
First, if you haven’t played with the activities section here is a quick overview:
- From the new Activities tab, you can choose an activity from Seesaw’s library or create one of your own!
- Push the activity out to your whole class OR just to a few specific students for differentiated instruction
- View all student responses in one place for easy assessing, commenting, and approving
SO NOW Seesaw has updated the app and you can share any activity you make with others. You will have to make sure your app is updated. You can customize or create a new activity, then share it with teacher friends to use in their own classes.
To share, all you have to do is click on the three gray dots on the bottom right corner, then click “Get Activity Link.”
You will get a variety of ways to share the activities with others.
Let the collaborating begin!
